When people talk about the running temp after one guy just talked about replacing his Temp Sensor II, which is for temp sensing for the ECU, which has zip to do with what temperature the engine runs at, It makes me wonder if people understand the difference between the temp sensor for the ECU, and the temp sensor for the gauge, and even what the thermostat does. I'm pretty sure almost everyone understands the functioning and purpose of the thermostat.

But no amount of changing the Temp Sensor II has any affect on what temp the engine runs at.

james:

is she coming up to operating temp now?

if not, an open thermostat could be the ultimate source of difficulties.
