Hi All, been there done that !!! High Uinta's 4th July no less ! Coldest night I've ever experienced there !!! ( We were either in tents or just on the ground in bags ) Finally after experiencing bone chilling cold for an hour and worrying about freezing to death. Both for myself and my family, I got up, pulled football sized rocks out of the fire pit, wrapped them in towels and placed one in everybody's sleeping bags.
