No, only the normal and traditional single OP switch - or at least how they
are always wired in a pre-86 vanagon. ( forget what van he has right now )
AAZ's do have two OP switches, ( second one is usually not used in most
conversions )
But they use reverse logic from each other.
A traditional OP switch supplies ground if there is no pressure.
The 'other' one - the high rpm/hi pressure one uses reverse logic from that
- it supplies ground when there IS oil pressure.
So you can't swap 'em as a test.
Good thought though-
What I mostly use as a diagnostic strategy is 'substitute and bypass." As
you are suggesting here.
