Hi all, Can someone tell me how the Shift Lever (the socket portion) comes off the rear shift rod via the tensioning pin. I have new boots that go around the shift rod bushing, and I'm guessing I need to take the shift lever off to slide them on. Looks like the tensioning pin comes out somehow but it doesn't seem obvious to me at least. The section I'm talking about is 34.7a in Bentley. It's for an 88 Wolfsburg so it has the "newer" assembly with boots around the bushing. Thanks, Ben _________________________________________________________________ Connect and share in new ways with Windows Live. http://www.windowslive.com/share.html?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_Wave2_sharelife_012008 |
