I know,

Just got a note back from the guy.

I offered to buy the instrument cluster with tach out of it.

I thought he wanted a bit much for it.

I've already got an offer from the guy who first posted it to buy it, go get it and tow it back and I'll do a TD conversion to his vanagon, and he'll supply the engine.

Bummer, too far away. Otherwise I'd probably buy it. If it's not rusted from winter use, a great buy possibly. Parting it out ! Ack ! It's priceless and irreplaceable !!!! ( rape mentality - makes me sick ) Scott www.turbovans.com

If your like me and feel tornado red is one of the most amazing colors they ever built a few vans in, you probably understand that they do not come up often, and fetch some pretty crazy bucks when they do. Well, i just found one, cheap.

I just got off the phone with the guy, and its sad to say that he has already started to part it out.... But it still may be worth saving if you could get what's left of it cheaply. He mentioned the engine is missing, as are the side view mirrors. Great candidate for an awesome looking, wonderful vehicle....after you put an engine/transmission in there (do i hear a conversion!?!?). The body looks pretty good.

I just thought someone should save this baby.
