I forgot what year vanagon you have and what type of transmission.
Hope you can forgive me for that.
If I could remember I'd look at my stash of about 15 vanagon front
transmission mounts to see if I have a really nice good used one to offer
you.

Hi All,

Anyone recently replaced their front rubber mount for a manual transmission?
I just reinstalled my tranny and noticed that the mount is pretty cracked
and wiggly - not good...though I'm not looking forward to buying a new one
as they are a bit on the pricey side....

But, I guess it is a road I must travel down. 

So I was wondering if anyone has come across a good deal on one, or a
particular online dealer who carries one that is better than another. Are
all mounts created equal??
