I'm still amazed. I expected a canned letter that said "Dear Loyal Customer." Blah blah blah. When the rep called me I was still sure she was just going to patronize me spew a bunch of crap but I get the impression she felt the same way about VW not listening to it's customer base. I kind of got that impression when she said VW made here answer all the mail that comes in asking why they can't by a new California camper here.

I did try to get more info on them building a new plant here in the US but I got the "I cannot confirm or deny" type answer there.

Anyway, take a few moments and write a letter to that address I posted. It really can't hurt.
