Subject:      Bed liner paint suitable to paint on new gas tank?

Hey guys.


Got my new gas tank. The medium size dent I saw on it while at CI,
should have been a warning sign. At home I noticed the fuel outlet
tube was bent. Not kinked though. I should have exchanged it while I
was there but was in a hurry. Lesson learned.


After I exchange it ......


I figure why not paint the tank? I have no idea how good the paint job
is on this inexpensive tank. Or for that matter know what kind of
paint was used.


Would bed liner paint be suitable as a top coat? Is there a better product?
