Subject: Re: What's the difference in Febi and Meyle lifters?
Comments: To: Jim Felder <jim.felder@GMAIL.COM>

Jim, the Febi lifters are OE and the Meyle are aftermarket. Both are excellent quality. The Meyle is actually built like the original lifter that you probably have right now. It has a check ball inside to allow the lifter to pump up and hold its pressure (for a few weeks anyway) and it has a small clip that looks like a paper clip that holds the lifter together. The Febi lifter changed it's design several years ago. They now have a small disc inside as the check valve. They also use a much beefier snap ring to hold the lifter together.

I have used both over the years with no problems either way. I have both in stock and I will match the BD pricing. I also have the expandible push rod tubes that make replacing just one or two lifters a pretty easy job. The lifters are in stock in both my East Coast and West Coast warehouse so no matter where you are in the US you are just a couple of days away via ground shipping. We usually ship the same day with no extra charges for doing so.

Let me know if I can help you further, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com
