Yes they are OE, and yes they work. I did not put my new one on right away and by the time I did there were a few rock ships there within 2 months.

BTW you can buy a clear protective film from your FLAPS or McMaster Carr that is the same or very similar material made by 3m and cut it to fit. I also used some of that material under my roof luggage rack to protect the paint where the rack contacts the paint. Body shops use the same material to protect the leading edge of hoods from stone chips.
