Subject: NVC: Volvos.....again.

Well guys, it's friday. Some time back e determined a direct correlation between some peoples love of vanagons, and their love of Volvos. There were a ton of list members with 240s and other classic volvo models. To all of you with this love, keep it up, they're great cars. Well i have found myself in a situation that requires me to find a new rear hatch for my 1985 Volvo 245 Station Wagon (Burgundy). The one thats on there needs something along the lines of $400 of rust repair, and the latch is broken. So i figure, i'm better off finding another hatch in good shape. I understand they were compatible from '75-85, so if anyone knows of a burgundy volvo wagon in a junk yard, and would like to make a buck selling the hatch (especially if its in good shape), no junkyard i've called in my tristate area has one, and no one is willing to ship one. I'm in Pittsburgh PA, so anything along this coast (the RIght Coast) would be good, and pickup may be available.

With the diversity of this list, there's probably someone on the east coast with a garage full of Volvo 240 trunks thinking to themselves "i should really get rid of these...". Thanks again!

Happy Fridays... -Craig '85GL
