John..
The LSD (limited slip diff) is a passive portion inside the diff that is
always working to keep traction to both rear wheels...no knobs or driver
input needed...alwyas there to maintain traction...easy install by
me..$1195..thats it.
The LLSD (locker limited slip diff) has the same LSD principles but with the
addition of a set of locking teeth (lsame as the syncro trannys locker has)
that is operator enabled to make both rear wheels turn regardless...locked
together no mater what to get traction... The rub on that is that setup is
that the case need to be modified/replaced and the controls and servo and
forks, etc have to be installed to make it function...thats the spendy part.
The unit itself is only $1295...The rest of the goodies and labor without he
rebuild cost runs another $1500.
Hope that helps
