'getting the hydrogen, that is 'the problem.'

I didn't read the thread, but if someone thinks they can just take voltage from the alternator and break H20 into H2 and O an run the engine off H2 - well, if that would work they would have done that decades ago.

And..since the Fuel Cell is THE HOPE, as it produces electricity and water, and no other emissions......all we need is the hydrogen.

I believe the few hydrogen refueling stations there are ( and there are a few ) get their hydrogen from natural gas.

It may be abundant, but I think getting lots of pure H is not easy.

It takes a lot of energy to split water into hydroger & oxygen. Far

more than you can get out of the hydrogen produced. No-win.
