Just a note that I now have a small quantity of newly designed Alloy Wheels
in stock from Just Kampers in England. Unlike most aftermarket wheels, these
are specifically designed for Vanagons. They can handle the Vanagon's
weight, have the correct offset, and do not require you to modify or machine
them to fit the hub.

I have 14" 5-spoke wheels, and 17" 7-spoke wheels.  The 14" wheels have the
advantage of working with our excellent Hankook 185R14 tires, which of
course are also properly rated for Vanagon use.  A 14" LT (Light Truck)
rated tire is less expensive than a 15" one, so you'll save money on tires
(or can use your existing ones) while dressing up your Vanagon.  (VW does
not recommend the use of standard-load passenger car tires on Vanagons.)
According to Just Kampers, most people who buy their 17" wheels are using
215-55R-17 tires, although larger ones may be used depending on suspension
height.  I do not sell an LT rated 17" tire, so you'd have to seek that out
yourself.

I only have a few sets of each style at this point. When they are gone, I
won't have more until June, and given the dollar's weakness I'm not sure if
I'll be able to hold the price. Other configurations (14" 7 spoke or 17" 5
spoke) can be special ordered for June delivery.
