The later model inner structure is the same for the early Vanagons as models with fiberglass bumpers. The only difference is fiberglass bumper vans had two small metal brackets welded on top to support the higher (than the steel bumper) top surface of the fiberglass bumpers.

Now that you know, will you be using the Z600 to tow it?
