Replace them both for sure. they're cheap. Go buy a cheap sliding dial indicator and use it to measure from the center of the cap on the back of each ball joint to the furthest thread on the tie rod. Don't mix up the tie rods. Reassemble and adjust to the original measurement. You won't need an alignment unless you already needed one. Jim
