I redid all the flaps. Of the three set of rotating flaps, I'll call them bottom, center, and top. The center ones are the only ones you can't take completely out. What I did was pop off the plastic black strips, cut foam and pop the plastic pieces back. I found after looking at a number of foams that replacement foam for a home AC window unit word the best. for the two larger flaps that deep inside I just sued some self sticking felt.
