Neil-
I got a good look at you vid of the older box and there are a number
of changes, however the over all shape seems to be the same. My box
was from an 87, and that was a change over year. It seems they
revised the box three times over the run sold in the US.
The latest model box 87ish to 91 had heat going to the dash vents.
I switched mine to this style. One thing to keep in mind if doing
this is you need to grab the vent hose as it changed lengths.
The only other issue is the way the box attaches to the firewall. On
the later style the bottom two screws on fastened from the outside of
the van do to the routing of the hoses.
