Denis, You mention using a lubricant on the threads. I thought that was not recommended for the head nuts as it would give a higher torque due to the loss for friction between the nut and stud. When I use ant seize, I always reduce the torque by 30%. I'm just about to put my engine back together and if the use a lubricant is recommended based on your experience (which is a lot more than mine BTW) then I will do that. I just don't want to mess this up.
