80 each is as low as I’ve ever heard them going for, even lower. I love them. I think they are awesome on a vanagon.
I don’t know if Old Man Emu shocks are available for 2WD, but those are super awesome on a Syncro, especially with sycro.org springs and 15 inch wheels with the right tires. Also………I wonder if Van Café’s Koni shocks are better than HD Bilsteins. They’re 105 each I think…….but the Bilstiens are so good I’m almost afraid to try anything else, but I wonder about these Koni’s.
But for the price, you can’t go wrong with the HD Bilsteins, I’ll say that. Scott www.turbovans.com <http://www.turbovans.com/>

It's time for a new set of shocks for my '85 Westy. I am planning to go with the Bilstein Heavy Duty front and rear. Anyone care to offer up oppinions on a better shock to use for the Westfalia? Also, does anyone know who has the best deal on Bilsteins? Looks like they usually go for about $80ea.
Thanks in advance. Jay Brown '85 Zetec Westy '72 Riviera http://www.geocities.com/vwcamper72
