Hey Ben, I didn't know this is the way it actually worked, though I never really gave it any thought. But this makes me think, that the reason for this design was so that you only sucked low, where you were most likely to pick up some caca, when you absolutely had to. Normal operation would have it picking up the gas at a safer and higher level.......so I'm thinking that this was pretty sound thinking, but it would have been much better if they had explained it. Miguel

> it's not exactly a reserve tank. The tap actually actually has an upper drain for most of the fuel. When it ges to a certain level, you have to turn down the lever so that the secondary hole lower on the valve lets the rest of the fuel flow.
