I have my XM mag mount antenna inside the van, on the 'ledge' near the latch for the poptop. From there, it's easy to route the wire inside/behind the driver doorway mouldings and under carpet to reach the dash. Out of sight, out of the way, and I've never had any problems with reception (except in areas where I have problems with my Golf - mag mount antenna on the rooftop - as well).
