First of all,, Thank you Jeff for the pictures you sent.

What I did not see is the parts that make up the latch that when you push the lock button, I need the picture/parts list for all the parts that the lock button attaches to. Encoding the levers latch parts that make up the complete assembly for the 1987 Vanagon.

Also, since I do not use the central locking can I replace the assembly with one that does not have the central locking assembly and if so, is it any cheaper?

I hope I am explaining correctly what it is I am needing. Basically, I need everything (I guess) to completely replace the whole locking assembly.
