Larry...It takes a bit over 3qts..so get 4. Remove the fill plug first so in case its stuck, you won't end up with an empty tranny Daryl of AA Transaxle (425) 788-4070 aatransaxle.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "AAG - Larry Word" <word_aag@COMCAST.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Saturday, March 08, 2008 8:16 AM Subject: 85 Vanagon - manual trans. fluid change

I'm finally upgrading to Redline MT-90 transaxle fluid ($10/qtr.) and other than changing the fluid as normal, now using this Redline product, is there anything ELSE I should be aware of as I make this change?

2 qtrs. is the correct transaxle capacity for my 1985, correct?

Thanks....just checking before I do this project!

Larry Ga.
