My thoughts are, and without knowing much about the Faucet you have......extend the hose. Routing hose through the pillars and everything will come out with a really nice, clean finish. But when it comes down to it, i bet that if your faucet pulls out.....it wouldn't be that hard to go to your local hardware store and find some similarly sized tubing (probably made for showers...), add some length when replacing, and just make the provisions to store the additional length. TA DA!!! A shower, that doubles as a sink!
