This happens when the latch at the bottom of the table fails. Here's what I recall: you'll have to remove the table by taking off the two plastic bullets at the hinge at the top edge and remove the 10mm bolts that attach the table to metal frame at the wall. I don't remember if you can get to the latch by leaning the table out, if so, you're done when you buy another latch and install it. I hope somebody in the group has one, you won't like the price of a new one.

I've done stuff to the table that required removing the whole thing, which required removing the plastic wall molding, which requires removing the rear seat. I hope that isn't the case with the latch.
