Did I miss a post here? I believe we were discussing Mexican made VW's, not
the work ethic of Mexicans. These are two completely different things. From
my perspective I've owned a German built and a Mexican built version of the
same car. The Mexican one was "junkier". Was it due to lazy workers? No. It
was probably due to the same thing that happens when American companies
build something somewhere else; they cheapen the quality along with saving
money on labor.
Mexicans are notorious for being extremely hard workers, that issue was not
in debate here.
Thanks,
Bryan

Ok, ok, I'm taking a deep breath here, as it was recently suggested that I
should do, when I posted a reactionary comment.....or two. First, one
disclaimer, I am not Mexican.
I have worked all over the Gulf of Mexico (offshore natural gas production,
for Atlantic Richfield and a few others, since 1977)and have run all kinds
of construction jobs. I'll cut to the quick here and get to the point. Los
Mejicanos are everything that the USA worker should strive to be. Those guys
(every crew that I ever had the privilege to work with)were the hardest
workers I ever did see......and personable, respectful, considerate human
beings. Their mothers would be proud, if they ever knew......and what better
gauge than to actually become what your mom wanted! Well, before I get on a
long boring story about my brothers to the south, look elsewhere. Anyone can
build crap. Hell, look no further than Detroit, baby! If I were to ever have
the opportunity to hire a crew (for anything,)I would hire a crew of
Mejicanos first, without a second thought! These guys know what a full day's
work is all about and damn I wish I could just eject all these so called
workers that don't give a crap and just feel entitled to a paycheck......and
replace them with Mejicanos.............bueno, enough.
Miguel (always respectful of my brothers)
