Hi Jeff, I'd suggest that valve adjustment should be the same interval as on aircooled engines; 3,000 miles/5,000KM. But you may only need to inspect them, as the watercooled heads are probably less prone to valves stretching and seats dropping. How long will it last depends on how good the parts were. But if it goes 100,000 miles you're gonna wind up under it 33 times inspecting the valves. Any idea what the grind on that cam was?
