Subject: Throttle Body....One Switch?, Two Switch?, Red Fish?, Blue Fish?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

My '85 is getting a freshened up engine, and a different set of intake/injection parts. It has never had a Throttle Position switch of any type. The connection was simply hanging there, and the Vaccuum system was in a non-stock configuration. I'm looking to go to a system WITH a throttle position switch and have the following options: One switch, or two switches. The van was (I Believe) originally designed for a single switch system, as it has a single loose plug as upposed to 4 loose sade conectors that i believe was found on the '83.5-84's. The Throttle body i have with a single switch, the switch doesnt seem to work. The earlier '84 Throttle body however, is a duel switch system and works. Is it true that they can be simply wired in Parallell? Are there any big advantages or disadvantages i would see with one system as upposed to another?

Thanks again!

-Craig '85Gl
