'good and tight' with something on the treads. My favs are either Teflon paste from the hardware store, like for pipe joints, or red permatex high tack gasket sealer, my all around gasket and stick-'em thread treatment. Prevents corrosion, is anti-vibration, and they come out just fine 10 years later. If I had to guess in ft lbs. Id' say 30 to 35 max. But I trust my calibrated 40 + years of experience elbow much more. Sometimes the just don't feel right at the torque spec, and I think many torque specs on general engine parts are a little 'theoretical' not really tight enough , in a few cases anyway. 'feel' works much better on some fasteners I think. Scott www.turbovans.com

I'm putting the heads back on my 2.1, and I need to know the torque for the four bolts that hold down the ac bracket. I know it's in bentley, but I don't know where. Thanks,

Jim
