I don't have an owners manual for my '91 GL. Can anyone describe, or point me to info on exactly what the four different heat/vent slider controls do? And how the air conditioning is involved (the two knobs to the right of the radio). Looks like A/C is completely independent of the heat/vent system, involving only the overhead duct in the center of the van.

I don't find that the meanings of all of the iconic symbols on the sliders are immediately obvious.

Allan -- 1991 Vanagon GL
