Our local Wal*Mart and FLAPS have the "Plastic" VW fuses which I'll use
in a pinch.  The ceramic ones are better, though.  My experience with
the plastic ones has been that if and when the fuse is running hot, the
plastic will melt before the metal strip on the fuse blows.
