<Jeff, there was a recent post stating that the seats that come with a swivel equipped van, are narrower, so you don't sit so high.> Thanks, Miguel, for the info. I should have mentioned that I ditched the stock seats some time ago and replaced them with ones with armrests. After I posted this I went out to the driveway and tried to swivel the drivers seat-don't think I've even tried since I put in the seats w/armrests in. First thing I noticed was what I read in the archives about the parking brake was correct-have to take it off to swivel the seat. Then, since I have armrests, the right side armrest hit the table bracket and prevented the seat from turning very far, maybe about a 1/4 turn and thats it. Given that, if I could lower the seat an inch or two it would be worth it. Jeff |
