No seam sealer? Do you live in Death Valley? LOL.....maybe in SOME areas this is OK but if you have gaps that allow water to collect you will have rust bubbling underneath the POR15 in a few years. I think bad seam sealers crack when body flexes and the cracks collect water which undermines the POR15 via osmosis....even if you follow the instructions religiously. I did all my seems with POR15 7 years ago on BOTH SIDES, removing the fridge etc, replaced the utility gaskets/window gaskets...........and guess what, i need to do most of it again. If i had the time id de-seam the whole van with my mig and plasma kit......but im a little screwy:)

EXACTLY ! The ONLY way to stop seam rust forever is to clean the seams thoroughly, both sides, apply POR-15 according to the directions both sides and paint over it as per directions. NO seam sealer is necessary unless you like the look of it. Seam sealer just causes problems from my experience.

Please note that I will be away from my business travelling in Mexico from November 19, 2007 until April 30, 2008. Parts orders will be processed although not as quickly as usual. I will always be available for contact by E-mail. If you phone your call will be addressed by Greg T. Brown here and he will either call you back or advise you to contact me directly by E-mail.
