I don't have the conversion, but my answer would be that fuel economy is not the reason to do a conversion. Even if the new engine gets better economy, it will not be enough to justify the cost on that basis alone. A conversion will run you 5 - 10 thousand dollars depending on how much of the work you are able to do yourself. If your new engine gets 5 MPG better economy, that would take a LONG time to pay back, even at today's gasoline prices.
