Jeff, there was a recent post stating that the seats that come with a swivel
equipped van,
are narrower, so you don't sit so high.
My Syncro AW came with swivel seat only on passenger side, and the narrower
seats, which didn't have the arm rests, so I replaced them with arm rest
equipped seats that also have the standard thickness. Now, the driver's
elevation is perfect (I am only 5'9", so this may not apply to you,) but the
passenger side is a little high, so we made a little foot-stool with storage
within. While resting feet on this little stool, the passenger is just fine
(or she can walk! ha.)
