Well damn dude, Why don't you just say "# 4 and # X' in your diagram, instead of making people look down the long list and match them to your picture. I couldn't' even find the 106C on your list.

If it's the 4 big main hoses, or two of them, I have several sets of those laying around, and they don't seem to wear or fail at all, at least not where I am. But thank you, and I imagine you'll sell your two kits of hoses pretty quickly. For me it's not that big deal since I do engine conversions all the time, and making new custom hose arrangements is quite common, which of course is not the situation most people owning just one stock vanagon are in.

Dear List,

I thought I should bring it to the attention of the Vanagon List that two of the main coolant hoses for the 83-85 1.9l Vanagon have become No Longer Available and so far there is no aftermarket that I can find. The hoses are 025121102A and 025121062C. If you click on my diagram page here you can see what two hoses I am talking about and why this is so serious. http://www.vanagain.com/19l2chc.htm While these hoses were used on 85 Vanagon with plastic coolant pipes they can also be used on the older 1.9ls with the metal pipes with a slight modification. However now they are discontinued and going out of stock and I am not sure what the next step is going to be as far as getting these two. I still have three sets of the coolant hoses for the 1.9l Vanagon left in stock but when they are gone that is going to be all for complete sets of hoses. If you have been thinking about replacing your hoses for a while but just haven't done it because you were waiting for the right time, that time is now while you can get these last few sets. If you are interested in buying a set of these hoses please pmail me directly.

The only way I will sell these hoses are as complete kits. The kits are $484 each and they cover all of the coolant hoses in the engine bay, the two heater hoses that go from the engine to the rear heater core "T"s and the two hoses that are up front at the radiator. I don't include the hoses for the transmission cooler for the automatic but if you ask me I can supply these for an addition amount if you want to replace them as well. I will only sell one kit per customer and I am doing this on a first come, first serve basis. So if you want one of these last sets please email or call me at 856-327-4936 as soon as you can. Once they are gone that is it.

Just FYI, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com
