Subject: FS parts van, 84 Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Sadly I think it's time to let it go, the body is very rusty and it has a few mechanical problems and I don't have the time or money to fix it. It's an 84 full Westy with an I4 conversion, 1.8 Digifant II, from a '91 Jetta, with diesel mounts. It runs and drives, I use it most days to go to work, but it's not really road worthy. I'm located in central Michigan near Midland.

As I already mentioned, the body is rough, it has seen many salty Michigan winters. The interior is in decent shape mostly in tact, the rear A/C is gone, it cough fire a few years ago. The fiberglass top is in good shape, just needs seals. Last I knew, the fridge still worked on all three power sources, and it has a mini ice cube tray ;-).

As it has many good parts, I'm asking $1000 or best offer. I'd prefer to sell it whole as a parts van or a trade for a running car. If needed, I would part it out. To make an offer or for more information feel free to email me.

BTW, I also have a trailer hitch off a '79 Rabbit that needs a new home. It bolts to the spare tire well and bumper with four bolts.
