Page 47.9 of the Vanagon Bentley shows testing of the brake pressure regulator that all Vanagons have.

This device limits pressure to the rear brakes under severe braking, AFAIK.

It is in a hidden location, on the inner side of the passenger side frame rail below the front passenger seat area.
