Well.... maybe. It seems to me that there's a certain minimum amount of work they'll let one go with, and I don't know if that'd sneak under the $25K bar. Really, it's a case of them not wanting to start any of their fixup work until they find out how much of it you're willing to shell out for. Why fix up a Westy to the $30K degree when there's someone coming 'round the bend who might be willing to spring for $1000 more engine, or Recaro seats, or a solid shaft and decoupler, or who maybe wants it painted CRAZY EXPENSIVE RED?
