Tam, you should definitely take John up on his offer, he's really nice! ;-)
Hopefully you won't need the mechanics en route, but do meet up with other
vanagonauts. That's what makes traveling in a vanagon so worthwhile...
I've invite you to stay, but I’m on the road myself, so that's not much use!
And good luck!
Joy

Hi Tam,
I'm on the roadhaus help site, for this area, and,
If you get to the SLC, UT area,
you're welcome to camp in my back yard.
( if you dont mind the company of all of the ole' Vanagons :o)
And there is a good mechanic here if the SL area, that can do your lifter
adjustment, as well.
Talk to Bob Stevens about them. as they are his mechanics.
you may be able to set up an appointment for the day you will be coming
through.
& if its on a Sat or Sun, we could do the adjustment as well!
Congrats on your purchase, & welcome to the community for sure !!!
& good luck on your travels!
best,
John C...
