If I had $50K to spend on a camper, I would definitely go with something like a Sportsmobile. Why wouldn't anybody? What is really so special about these Vanagons anyway? And why am I addicted to them? I'm on my second Westy now and when I was camping last week in SC, there were bunches of Roadtreks and Pleasureway vans around. I was even invited into a couple of them and I must say I was overcome with envy. Granted they don't come with the Vanagon/Westy "family", but as much as I love you all, is it really that important?
