After all, we're pretty much all adults here, and most of our 'ears' lost their 'virgin' status a long time ago. Last I checked, the FCC wasn't regulating us here, but decorum suggests that these expressive outbursts should be few and far between. I didn't find it to be in bad taste here, in that context, but some people do. I'm sure NOT a conservative ! I find them terminally boring. I also find informal language to be fun, and not uptight, and bonding even. All my normal regular very evolved, very liberal friends.........we don't' think there's a thing wrong with an f word or two, used well, here and there. We don't consider it dirty at all, but more connecting and expressive and as I said bonding. I sure don't' wish to identify with the straight uptight fear-based majority. And I'm not a jerk ( debatable perhaps lol ) or any kind of irresponsible citizen, I just believe heartily in self-expression is all. What you missed was me expressing my frustration about people not stating location when they are offering a van or parts from one, and I used one of < gasp ! > .........'those words.' -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Matthew Snook Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2008 2:07 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: pick n pull What'd I miss!?! Conservatives I know use more four letter words as a rule; liberals seem to prefer four syllables or more. :) Now about those swivels... You can bet that if I have something for sale I'll be clear about where it is.
