Coincidentally, Ross... Last year, there was a Vito van for sale on Ebay in Florida. It was supposedly owned by singer Jamiroquai. I figured impossible to register in California so I passed on it. Well LAST FRIDAY, I saw a silver Vito tooling around Daly City, California (suburb of San Francisco). It had California plates. I got to wondering how they got it here and if anyone knows if these can be imported here. Jeff? Went up to Reno yesterday. On the way back to SF, I saw a gray Westy which appeared to me sporting Subaru innards. Well, a few minutes after I posted that, I saw a silver VW Sharan heading east on Highway 80. I was flying by at about way faster than traffic =) so I missed the license plate. It was a colorful plate and I suppose could have been from south of the border. Maybe the guy in the Westy spotted this too. Jeff? Sharan in the US?
