My reply to all was rejected due to as "attachments", so here is what I said hopefully w/o any stinking attachments. DM&FS I've had good luck cutting the long skinny coolant hose that has the one big end over by cylinder #4 and I think the other end heads towards the water pump or close to it. I added a simple brass T fitting with maybe 1/2" or 3/8" or 5/16" hose barbs on it and whatever NPT thread pitch your sending unit has. I think I did ground the brass connector to make sure it read properly. I figure that coolant hose gets as hot as any of them. Our NAPA store sells VDO temp sending units for like $13 each in a variety of sizes. The rest of the installation is up to you. DM&FS Steven Wright- As a fetus, I'd leave the womb at night while mom was sleeping and steal things. I figured I'd accumulate some wealth before I got fingerprints. |
