But, as Miguel recently stated quite emphatically, "nor does that have
ANYTHING to do what this community is about!", right?
We are all here to help each other.........the last time I found a syncro in
a local pick-'n-pull, I let everyone know where it was and what was still
left on it...............
"Mike,
Got get that trans & diff! If the tranny is in decent condition (i.e., not
badly corroded), you can easily get $800 - $1000 for it. The front diffs go
for $300 to $500 used. Time to eBay!
Cheers,
Jeff

I know of a Syncro in an area junkyard. It's somewhat picked over. There's
a complete, unmolested drivetrain/ suspension in it still.
They quoted me $100 for the trans and $75 for the front diff yesterday (no
warr). The 2.1 longblock is only missing one head right now.
It's @ Henry's in Blackstone, Ma on the RI line. $2 entrance fee, you pull
everything, they'll loan you a wheelbarrow to bring it out, cash only. I go
there every now and then. They usually have 2 or 3 Vanagons.
