You can require that the person paying with PayPal have a verified address
and/or wait for funds to actually clear before sending the item. With credit
cards there can be a wait. I know when I use PayPal and I want the money to
go out right away and be verified I choose the option to take the money out
of my checking account as opposed to a credit card.  If the buyer has an
unverified account tell them the funds will have to clear before you send
it.

International postal money orders are not that much of a hassle here either,
you can ask for one of those.

Volks,

I'm planning to selling some stuff on The Samba and I wish to get your
input on how I should get paid for theses items. I Live in Canada and
most probably the buyers will be from within the US. I was thinking
Paypal but heard some weird stories about sellers who lost their money
once Paypal find out (days later after the transaction)  that the
buyers made his payment with a fraudulent credit card. Saw this a
couple weeks ago on a local TV show. Som I'm  a little reluctant using
this way.

Any tips or advice are welcome.
