I have been wondering whether my coolant level sensor is faulty, since I don't remember every seeing it come on when I've done coolant flushes, etc. My understanding was that the sensor is just a conductivity sensor, so that unplugging it should make the system think the coolant is empty. However, when I unplugged mine, and then started the van, the light flashed for a few seconds like always, then went out as always, seemingly suggesting that the level is fine. What could be going on here? Thanks, Wes '83 westy |
