Subject: Water tank mystery
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hey volks,

A few weeks ago I did the initial inspection of me water tank. Filled it to btwn the second and third probe and saw the lamps asserted on the stove front to indicate correctly. The water slowly leaked out over the next few hours.

Neil1 advised me to check the drain plug, which I finally did yesterday. Before I opened it, I peered into the tank and noticed the drain tube was full from the bottom of the tank to the drain plug. After opening the drain the corresponding amount of water drained out. I cleaned and inspected the cap/plug and reinstalled it, filled the tank again, checked the lamps and this morning confirmed it hasn't leaked out!

I'm thoroughly confused as to where the first test water leaked from. Yesterday it was in the high 50's but it wasn't much cooler if any the day I peformed the first test. Both tests were performed on relatively level ground near one another.

Any ideas?
