Sunday afternoon a New York Times reporter will be down here to do some of the new Alabama Scenic River Trail and write an article about it. Since his crew will be camping with me, it will be a vanagon party. But you're right. We should! Good idea. I know some great places to camp with class one, two and three rapids.

By the way, anyone wanting to attend the grand opening of the 631-mile Alabama Scenic River Trail (you don't have to do the whole thing, of course) on June 6th in Montgomery Alabama is welcome to find out more at www.alabamascenicrivertrail.com.
